Santa's Grotto is an interactive Christmas display for families this holiday season. A Rembrance Tree will honour past or distant loved ones, kids can write letters to Santa - with direct delivery to the North Pole.

There will be Santa visits, storytelling and more as the Kaikohe Community Arts Council brings the Christmas spirit to kids at the old Paper Plus building at 124 Broadway in Kaikohe from November 24 to December 24. It's a team effort, the arts council's Kelly van Gaalen says of Shine Kaikohe and Santa's Grotto.

"Everybody's coming together for this one fun purpose."
