Dolphins and divers get together in the gulf

A crew of lucky divers from Dive HQ Whangaparaoa got to do what many dream of - swim with dolphins.

Divers Graham, Tony, Chris, Brooke, Darren, Maude and Dany encountered a playful pod of dolphins after a great dive at Takatu Pt last Sunday.

The seas were calm, water warm and the visibility good.

Dolphins and orcas have been seen frequently in Rodney waters this summer, to the delight and sometimes fright of water users.
