It's a case of returning to the fold for the new sales manager of the Rodney Times.
Pauline Caley was the manager of Suburban Newspapers' Western Leader community newspaper for nearly 20 years before leaving to pursue a career in the magazine industry.
She headed the Henderson-based newspaper from 1985 to 2003.
Since then, she has been manager of NZBusiness magazine, winning the Magazine Publishers' Association salesperson of the year award in 2007.
An Orewa resident for six years, she is already enjoying working in her own community.
"It's brilliant being back working with businesses because it is our job to help them grow," she says.
Her role at the Rodney Times has reunited her with editor Geoff Dobson, who also worked at the Western Leader.
"Geoff and I are both passionate about doing the best we can for our customers, be they advertisers or readers.
"He and I go way back and I'm really pleased to be working with such a good team.
"The Rodney Times is a terrific newspaper serving a great community and it's exciting to be part of that."
