Top New Zealand performers will entertain at the free Orewa New World Christmas on the Beach concert this Sunday.
The event is an annual fundraiser for the Orewa Surf Club, and features singers Ray Woolf, Suzanne Prentice and Anthony Utama. Funds will go towards rescue equipment, education, training of volunteer lifeguards, and costs associated with running Junior Surf programmes. The surf club hopes to raise $10,000.
Other musicians from the Hibiscus Coast and Rodney include Tracey Brown, Heather Wilcock, Tracey Houia, Geena Hutton, Ben Sharplin and Hayden Baker, and Ainslie and Danielle Davies.
Santa will be there too.
It's hosted by Gary Brown in association with Stage 51.
The concert starts at 4pm with fireworks at 9.30pm. The rain date is December 18.
