Fundraising is a slippery chore
Slip, sliding away.
Lucky ticket-holders enjoyed a waterslide said to be the world's longest, plus two other hillside slides, at Woodhill last weekend.
Up to 1000 people each day bumped down the 650 metre serpentine ride at a private farm to raise money and awareness about depression for the charity Live More Awesome.
More than $94,000 USD was raised. through Indiegogo, an international crowdfunding site.
The radar gun clocked thrillseekers hurtling up to 57kmh on the middle kicker slide with the jump.
Live More Awesome charity co-founder Dan Drupsteen says the event ran "fantastically well" with smiling faces everywhere.
"I think having the event alcohol free made a huge difference to creating a really chilled out relaxed environment," he said.
Perfect weather conditions added to the day's success.
Mr Drupsteen is grateful to volunteers and organisers for keeping the day running smoothly.
