Superheroes in super outfits had a super time at the annual Waiheke Primary School fair.
Otherworld Productions cast members bounded around the school grounds mentoring little superheroes in the best super poses.
Two bouncy castles and the opportunity to be whisked along on a special carpet by a tractor provided endless fun.
All day live music, tasty treats and a constant queue at the popular waterslide provided entertainment and activity for the children.
Principal Lyn Price says: "If we had a fair without the water slide or a bouncy castle it wouldn't feel like the Waiheke Primary School fair."
Members of the Waiheke Volunteer Fire Brigade were on hand to check the water supply to the slide and a few showers didn't dampen the spirits when a parade of little superheroes lined up to see who would win a prize.
Ms Price says the count hasn't been completed for the annual fundraiser but all money raised will go towards a range of things including the upgrade of the school's IT facilities.
"The day was fantastic. We had the sun, the people, an incredible team of parents, and high calibre music which adds to the feeling.
"I was really delighted with our school kapa haka group which put on a fantastic first public performance.
"Thanks to the Waiheke community who come and support the school."
