Police were called to Te Hurihi Primary School on Friday night after youths climbed the fence into the swimming pool area and proceeded to drink and light a fire.
An ambulance was also called to the scene to deal with a cut foot and an intoxicated youth who had fallen in the pool and nearly drowned. Police are investigating the incident.
Police also made two arrests last week. The first, on February 4, was of a 42-year-old Surfdale man for breaching his bail conditions. He was held in Auckland police cells before appearing in court the following day.
On February 9, a 47-year-old Surfdale woman was arrested after a drinking incident in Surfdale.
