It was all hairspray, leggings, leotards and Christmas goodwill as dancers took part in Santa's Anonymous 80s Aerobathon.
Dance instructors Rahman Saleh, Heidi Edwards, Sarah Gloyer and Flor Menehem came together, with support from seven other dance instructors, to put on the 80s style aerobics class at Morra Hall.
All 35 neon-clad participants brought a stocking gift for under-privileged kids which were put under the Christmas tree at Ray White for distribution by the Waiheke Rotary club.
Ms Gloyer says it will become an annual event. She is discussing setting up a regular old school aerobics class as well.
"I'd like to give a special thanks to all the instructors and participants, and wish a Merry Fitmas to everyone."
