FUNCTIONAL ART: Sharon Adrichem’s weathered pipi and tuatua shells flutter like butterflies in the breeze at the Kennedy Pt Vineyard exhibition. The artist says just five of these in a vege garden can deter white butterfly as they indicate occupied territory.

Two art exhibitions are on in conjunction with the Waiheke Vintage Festival which ends this Sunday.

The Bach Dinner Party Show is at Batch Winery on Carsons Rd and features an array of ceramic and glass works by more than 30 artists.

The works can be viewed daily from 10am till 4pm until Sunday.

Visitors can also pick up a vintage trail map at the cellar door and go for a walk on any day, or stay on to hear the Katy Soljak Trio play from 5pm till 7.30pm on Saturday.

There is also an exhibition of sculptures called Weather or Not in the olive grove at Kennedy Point Vineyard.

The works range from the quirky to the traditional and even functional.

The exhibition is open from 11am till 4pm daily and viewers can also visit the cellar door for a complimentary taste of Kennedy Point's award-winning syrah.

Both exhibitions run till April 6 and are free.
