TOP ACTS: Boy band Titanium have been named as one of the big drawcards to perform at this year’s Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park on December 8.

Chart-topping boy band Titanium will perform at this year's Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park.

The announcement was made by organisers this week as momentum and enthusiasm ramps up for the December 8 concert.

Joining them on the big stage in front of thousands fans in the Auckland Domain will be R'n'B star JAE 'O, rocker Michael Murphy, popera trio Tre-Belle and the female vocalist RIA.

Fellow singers Tayla Alexander, Yuli Quay, Nick Afoa and Tumehe Rongonui will also perform, joining headline act Guy Sebastian who is most famous at the moment for his work on X Factor Australia and his latest hit Battle Scars with Lupe Fiasco.

They will join Kiwi legends of the iconic show, Frankie Stevens and Jackie Clarke for the extravaganza along with backing stars Ellen Kuiper, Sharon Emirali and Cameron Clayton.

The show features a 350-strong cast of singers, dancers and performers which include choirs, Taiko drummers, hip-hop and Polynesian performers, as well as belly dancing groups and aerial artist Eve Gordon.

The popular free musical event will be co-hosted by TV3's Mike McRoberts and Carly Flynn.

This year's Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park continues to support Surf Life Saving New Zealand in their efforts to ensure Kiwis have a safe summer at the beach.

Rising star Jamie McDell makes a special appearance in support of Surf Life Saving, during the Ambassadors' message at 7.15pm.

Highlights from the concert will screen in a 90-minute broadcast on TV3 in December.
