Stay safe around intersections.
This is the message police are trying to get across to motorists after a serious car crash in Henderson.
On Monday afternoon a four-wheel-drive on Lincoln Rd and a car coming out of Sel Peacock Rd collided.
The four-wheel-drive rolled on to its roof.
One driver was left with minor injuries.
Waitakere senior sergeant Matt Broderick says alcohol and speed were not factors.
"Police and other agencies have been highlighting the risks at traffic light controlled intersections.
"Drivers should pay close attention and obey the road rules strictly to avoid the collision consequences."
Police are investigating circumstances of the crash and considering the appropriate action.
