Are you commemorating Anzac Day in West Auckland?
The Western Leader and a number of West Auckland RSAs are holding a photo competition and we want to see your images.
Perhaps you are attending an Anzac Day service, a parade, a gathering at an RSA or will be among family and friends.
Wherever you will be, keep the camera handy to capture the emotion, sentiment and mood of the day.
It could be a solemn and poignant ceremony, an image that celebrates the camaraderie between veterans, or something that symbolises the relevance of Anzac Day today.
Representatives from the Western Leader and the RSA will judge the competition.
The winning photo will be published in the Western Leader and the photographer will receive a $100 restaurant voucher to use at an RSA of their choice. The clubs taking part are Glen Eden, Henderson, Hobsonville, Te Atatu, Swanson, Titirangi, Avondale, New Lynn and Piha.
All photos entered into the competition will be published on our Facebook page and website.
To enter email a high-res jpeg photo to email@example.com with "Anzac photo" in the subject line by the end of April 28.
Include details such as the name of the people in the photo, ages (if appropriate) and when and where the photo was taken.
