Young gymnasts from the Orewa Gymnastics Club held their annual display and prizegiving at the Orewa Community Hall.
Club co-ordinator Caryle Cooper says it was another successful year for the young gymnasts aged from four to 15 years.
The club merged with the North Harbour Gymnastics Centre this year, but Ms Cooper says the Orewa club will retain its identity.
She says the merger secures the future of gymnastics in the Orewa area.
North Harbour Centre president Howard Johnston presented the awards.
Club championship awards were given to Emily Skaggs for midget girls, Eyal Blumental for midget boys, Taylor Dunn for junior girls, Rogan Strachan for junior boys, Riley Clifton-Walsh for intermediate girls, Nicholas Strachan for intermediate boys and Rebecca Knell for senior girls.
Co-operation and good behaviour shields went to Lauren Strachan and Scott Bagnall and most helpful senior was Sarah Lumsden.
Sportsmanship award was Skye Kelly, with gymnast of the year going to Rebecca Knell for the girls and Nicholas Strachan for the boys.
