A familiar face returns to New Zealand in the latest band joining the Laneways Festival line-up.
Organisers today announced A Place to Bury Strangers would perform at the January concert.
The band have a strong Kiwi connection with ex-pat Dion Lundadon, formerly of local band D4, playing bass.
Their latest EP, Onwards to the Wall, was released earlier this year, along with a music video shot entirely on an iPhone.
A Place to Bury Strangers join Bat for Lashes, Mercury Prize winners Alt-J, Lawrence Arabia and Yeasayer for the festival, set to take place at Wynyard Quarter on Auckland Anniversary Day.
A further four bands will be added to the line up over the next three weeks.
When: January 28
Where: Silo Park, Wynyard Quarter
