Taste of Mexico at festival
Taste of Auckland will take food lovers on a tour of the world when gates open on Thursday.
From Mediterranean legends like Vivace, Poderi Crisci and Toto to Fish and Kermadec Fine showcasing the Pacific, the four-day event has it all covered.
Local eateries Molten, Clooney, Euro and Depot are also part of the line-up this year.
Not only will visitors get a taste of Auckland, but they can also learn how to create it, with masterclasses running over the weekend in everything from food to coffee and cocktail making.
In the lead-up to the event, Auckland Now has gone behind the scenes to get a sneak peek at what some chefs will serve up.
Today watch as Mexico's Javier Carmona dishes up a meal of Guajillo dry rubbed beef skirt taco with roast green tomatillo, candied pepitas, and nasturtium leaves.
