Auckland city will showcase its sartorial style with Fashion in the Big Little City, a festival set to run from February 28 to March 10.
The 10-day event includes fashion shows, shopping deals, workshops and markets hosted by businesses, restaurants and galleries around the city.
Fashion in the Big Little City made its debut last year, and organiser Heart of the City's Alex Swney said it would be bigger and better this time around.
"After the overwhelmingly positive response last year from the public and retailers, Fashion in the Big Little City will be bigger and better than ever, and will absolutely cement the city's reputation as the premium fashion destination."
Shopping precincts around the Auckland CBD are to host their own events during the festival.
Britomart will build its own full-length catwalk to stage six runway shows featuring designers such as, Juliette Hogan, Kate Sylvester and Kathryn Wilson. A market day with food, bargains and music from Nick D and Dick Johnson at High Street's Freyberg Square is also on the cards.
The Auckland Museum will kick things off a little early with the World of Wearable Arts Off the Wall exhibition opening on February 22. A series of talks and film screenings will also take place at the Auckland Art Gallery over the 10 days.
Fashionable locals will have the chance to be snapped by roaming street-style photographers in the first two weeks of February, with the public deciding who will be crowned best dressed, and take out the $1000 prize.
