A representative for 50 Cent says the rapper is out of the hospital after being injured in a car accident in New York on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the megastar rapper's bullet-proof SUV collided with a Mack truck that had lost control on the Long Island Expressway in New York City.
Affiliate website ThisIs50.com claims that the impact caused the star's vehicle to "almost flip over".
The truck driver reportedly told police officials that his load shifted, causing him to lose full control of the vehicle.
Both parties received injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital - with 50 pictured being carried away on a stretcher.
The online fan site reports that the 36-year-old record producer underwent tests on his neck and back to determine any damage.
The rep says 50 Cent was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for "minor neck and back injuries" and is now "doing fine."
Bruce Miller, who was driving the car, was also injured and has been released from the hospital.
Photos of the 36-year-old on a stretcher are posted on his website www.ThisIs50.com. The Grammy winner, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, appears in a neck brace in two photos.
The rapper was hospitalised last month after suffering from a stomach bug. The star took to Twitter to inform fans about his condition.
He posted a series of photos on the social networking site, including one with him surrounded by a host of cuddly animals.
"I'm feeling better today I think I'm gonna get out of the hospital soon. EMINEM called me last night I love him that's my boy (sic)," he wrote at the time.
