Lana Del Rey and her famous faux-sex-kitten whimpering is back with new alluring album artwork and a teaser track from the upcoming Paradise edition of her Born To Die debut.
Set to drop on November 12, the Blue Jeans chanteuse overnight gave fans a sneak peek at the imminent album's cover art, in which she is pictured hair-down and looking slightly more luxe than in her stark and minimalistic original Born To Die portrait.
The self-aware old-meets-new aesthetic is matched by a collection of equally beguiling tracks, works the songstress describe as an "afterthought... not a new album. The Paradise edition of Born To Die [is] like seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement that I was making when I was making the record...it's beautiful."
The predictably pokerfaced track names - Ride, American, Cola, Body Electric, Blue Velvet, Gods and Monsters, Yayo, Bel Air and Burning Desire - are complete with some fresh is-she-serious lyrics, with phrases such as "My p***y tastes like Pepsi Cola, my eyes are wide like cherry pies", "You can be my photon, baby" and "Be young, be dumb, be proud. Like an American" slung into the latest sonics.
You can watch LDR'S latest YouTub teaser below and in it she looks maybe miserable and maybe meditative but definitely beautiful:
