With one inadvertently scatological gaffe, we're talking about Scottish singer Susan Boyle again.

Her PR team tweeted an announcement that she would be hosting an exclusive  listening party for her new album Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs From The Stage, adding the hashtag #susanalbumparty for good measure.

Once the intended meaning of the hashtag, "Susan Album Party," was misread as "Su's Anal Bum Party" the Twitter world couldn't see it any other way.

And perhaps that was a good thing, as #susanalbumparty trended worldwide and suddenly Susan Boyle was back in the spotlight.

''The official twitter hashtag for Susan Boyle's new release is #susanalbumparty Her social media team are either very naiive or geniuses,'' wrote Phil Stead.

''Be upstanding please for Susan Boyle's PR gurus, who decided the hashtag to promote the launch of her new album would be #susanalbumparty,'' wrote Simon Head.

The tweet from Susan Boyle's official account was later amended to #SusanBoyleAlbumParty.
