The year is drawing to an end and it's time to look back what's been going on in cinemas in the last 12 months.

Film site Sleepy Skunk has put together a six-minute mash-up of trailers of the biggest movies in 2012.

"Execution took three weeks, but the ideas within the video have been lingering in my mind all year," Sleepy Skunk wrote on their tumbler.

All up the video contains clips from 182 movies, including The Avengers, Skyfall, Looper, The Twilight Saga and Life of Pi. Find a list of all the movies here.
