Brittany Murphy's final film has been completed.

Three years after the actress' sudden death, post production on thriller Something Wicked has wrapped.

According to Variety, the movie is now up for sale to distributors, with Brillstein Entertainment Partners representing worldwide rights.

Without a distributor, it is unclear when the movie will be released.

The Clueless actress died shortly after filming completed in December 2009. She was 32.

The tragedy caused a delay in post production until earlier this year.

Something Wicked tells the story of a young engaged couple whose "gruesome secrets from their past collide with sinister forces of the present to ensure these newlyweds do not live 'happily-ever-after'", according to producers.

The Darrin Scott film stars Shantel VanSanten in the lead role, opposite Julian Morris, John Robinson, James Patrick Stuart and Angelique Perrin.

A coroner ruled Murphy's death was caused by pneumonia, iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication.

She was buried in Los Angeles on December 24, 2009.

Her husband Simon Monjack passed away from pneumonia and anaemia five months later.
