Women's International Tennis at the ASB Classic
If a day in the sun sounds like a good way to start the day, then the tennis has to be the place to be. The ASB Classic is New Zealand's richest women's international sporting event and this is a great chance to get up close to some of the world's best players. And that's not even mentioning the champagne and strawberries or off-court entertainment from former Amici Forever singer Geoff Sewell.

London based musician/producer and DJ Nathan Haines will be joined by Frank Booker - aka Chris Cox - for this exclusive NYE session. And if your taste buds are tingling beforehand, a five-course dinner is on the menu as well.

With a deck in full view of the Sky Tower's fireworks and live DJs Sample Gee, Vincent Hanna and Dee Why, Sale St will be one of the hottest inner-city tickets this New Year's Eve.

Supergroove NYE 2013
One of the biggest bands ever to come out of NZ, Supergroove are back on stage together for this massive end of year show. Watch as they revisit hits like Can't Get Enough, You Gotta Know and Scorpio Girls.
SkyCity. Tickets $75 and include a drink on arrival. Ticket holders must be 20 years of age or older.
The Mayan Fiesta
Even though the Mayan calendar is meant to have ended, that hasn't stopped Besos Latinos Restaurante from staging a fiesta to celebrate another year. Along with dinner, a Latin band will play live and the bar will serve the best Latin cocktails you can find.

New Years Eve Caribbean Party
Fireworks, dancers, live music, a five-course dinner and a view of the annual fireworks display are all on offer at this Victoria Park restaurant. It will be just like you are in the Caribbean.

NYE Free Family Movie Night Out
Sometimes, all you want to do on NYE is hang out with the kids and watch the Muppets. Along with Kermit, Miss Piggy and all their friends, there will be a bouncy castle, food and drink.

Bernie Griffin & the Flaming Pearls
Local legend Bernie Griffin will play one last show for the year alongside the Flaming Pearls, Las Tetas, Coach, Tina Turntables and a whole lot more. Stomping good fun.
