Nelson-based SeaDragon, Australasia's largest refiner and blender of fish oils, has announced a new squalene sales agreement that it says will underpin its financial performance into 2016.
Following on from its March announcement of a new raw material supply contract for its existing plant at Annesbrook, SeaDragon has signed a sales contract to take the refined squalene to customers throughout Australasia.
Chief executive Ross Keeley said the confidential contract covered finished product "using a significant amount of the raw material obtained from the supply agreement".
He said they were now very well positioned for the current financial year and beyond, and were looking forward to 2015 with the completion of the new oil refinery plant.
