Christchurch-based software development company Concept Engineering Ltd has sold its Village Care System (VCare) product to a nursing home in Ireland.
VCare is used by three of the four largest retirement village groups in New Zealand, including Ryman Healthcare and Metlifecare, and Ireland is seen as a market with potential.
"With the retirement village sector in Ireland about to take off, this represents a great opportunity to substantially grow our offshore business," Chris Graham, Concept's managing director said.
