The 10-year old property has undergone major improvement. It was covered in gorse and had just about every noxious weed riddled through it, Fransiska Falconer said.

Today the property three maturing restored gully projects, a skink habitat, pond area, producing fruit trees and pottager adding to the established gardens, surrounded by fenced paddocks grazing livestock. 

The couple's four children have moved out of home and are either studying or working. 

They want to help their youngest children, twins Joel and Fransiska Falconer, 19, pay for their studies.

Daughter Fransiska is studying medicine and Joel is hoping to get into veterinary school. 

While the Falconers are looking to downsize they still need room for their animals, including a horse named Jelly and a donkey named Merrylegs - after a pony in Black Beauty

It won't be easy saying goodbye to the place, Fransiska Falconer said.

"We built this as our dream home. 

"We've been here for many years and love this town. But we've got to get real I guess."

The property, which is being marketed by Bayleys, will go to auction on April 21.
