Rudolph, the pizza-delivery reindeer trained by Domino's Japan
Ever wished Rudolph and his mates could deliver your Christmas presents for real?
Well, in Japan Domino's is training reindeer to deliver the next best thing: pizza.
According to Mashable, Domino's Japan was training reindeer to pull sleds of fresh pizza around the country.
Christmas is a huge deal in Japan, but aside from trying to bring to life a Western Christmas tradition, the idea was also a possible solution to deliver pizzas during snowy weather.
Each sled will be fitted with a GPS driver tracker so customers can watch the delivery in real time.
Domino's was known for its experiments with delivering pizzas. Last month, the first commercial pizza drone delivery was made to Whangaparaoa, Auckland, after the company announced it would be trialling airborne pizza deliveries in New Zealand.
In England the company announced it was trialling delivery by canoe, and in both the United Kingdom and United States it released a Facebook messaging service where customers could order through the social media platform.
