Stuff signs content deal with Newsroom
Stuff has signed a partnership to publish stories from the newly launched New Zealand news and current affairs site, Newsroom.co.nz.
Newsroom is edited by former Mediaworks head of news and current affairs Mark Jennings and former NZ Herald editor-in-chief Tim Murphy.
They describe Newsroom, which launched on Monday, as "in-depth storytelling for thinking audiences with an interest in the people, progress, and democracy of Aotearoa".
The deal allows Stuff's audience to see two of Newsroom's best stories and videos each day.
Murphy said: "For Newsroom, being able to put our quality journalism before Stuff's market-leading New Zealand audience meets our primary goal of helping as many Kiwis as possible know and understand what's really going on."
Stuff editor Patrick Crewdson said: "We welcome Newsroom's entry to the New Zealand media scene and look forward to sharing a selection of their high-quality journalism on Stuff."
