An elderly man suffered serious injuries in a farm bike accident near Stratford yesterday morning.

The Taranaki Rescue Helicopter was called to Huiroa at 10.30am.

The man, 73, had a neck injury after driving his farm bike through a fence.

The chopper flew the man to Waikato Hospital.
