It's nearly full house at Mystery Creek Events Centre for the National Fieldays in June with outdoor agribusiness sites and the premier pavilion precinct already sold out.

Exhibition sites are also getting scarce as the countdown begins to the 45th annual event, this year showcasing the theme Getting Down to Business in the Global Economy.

Fieldays chief executive Jon Calder said demand for sites this year has exceeded expectations with high hopes records will be broken. In line with this year's international theme, interest has been strong from overseas companies, he said.

The events centre has been contacted by Chinese delegates, several Russian exhibitors and a Canadian dairy company making its first visit to exhibit in New Zealand.

A delegation from India, including government ministers, is also expected.

The Fieldays will be held on June 12-15.

How would you rate the 2014 National Fieldays at Mystery Creek?

Loved it. The best yet.

On a par with others.

It is too big.

Too static. Needs more live displays.
