Prime lamb prices had a small lift at livestock sales at Coalgate last week.

Prime lambs

Values: A strong prime lamb market met a smaller yarding and prices lifted slightly. Tops made $140 - $146, good $130 - $140, medium $115 - $125 and light $95 - $105.

Prime cattle

Values: In a light yarding prices were firm on the previous week. Steers made $2.10/kg - $2.42, heifers $2.14 - $2.29, cows $1.01 - $1.60 and beef bulls $1.80 - $2.08.
