Buyers pay more for smaller store lambs

The prime lamb market was back slightly.

Smaller store lambs rose in value as prime lambs eased at livestock sales at Coalgate last week.

Prime lambs

Values: Prices eased slightly, but were still up compared with meat company schedules. Tops made $115 - $126, good $100 - $110, medium $90 - $100 and light $85 - $90.
