The prime ewe market rose with top ewes making $120 - $139 at livestock sales at Coalgate last week.

Prime lambs

Values: The prime lamb market was firm on previous weeks. Spring lamb numbers are gaining as the season progresses.

Top old season lambs made $110 - $120, good $100 - $110, medium $90 - $100 and light $80 - $95. Top spring lambs made $125 - $130, good $110 - $120, medium $100 - $110 and light $85 - $100.
