Gore shoppers were out in force at the weekend, supporting their local Postie store.

Last week it was announced the clothing chainstore was among 12 of 82 Postie stores in New Zealand that will close in the first week of July, with 64 people losing their jobs nationwide.

On Saturday, people packed out the shop, lining the length of the building armed with purchases, in a mark of support.
