Small change for Delegat's

Listed winemaker Delegat's Group will change its name to Delegat Group effective on July 11.

The company will continue to trade on the NZX with the existing ticker code DGL.

The new name will also be used by subsidiaries in all markets, including replacing the Oyster Bay Wines brand in Australia, Canada, United States and Singapore.

End of an era

Investment company GuocoLeisure, formerly Brierley Investments, delisted from the New Zealand stock exchange today.

Founded by Sir Ron Brierley in 1961, Brierley Investments acquired substantial shareholdings in listed companies in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2007, six years after Brierley had retired from its board, the company changed its name to GuocoLeisure.

The company, which continues to be listed in Singapore, operates the Thistle and Guoman hotel chains in Britain and Malaysia.
