Cadbury New Zealand wants its Dairy Milk chocolate brand sold under the Fairtrade logo by Easter, the confectionary company says.

The move comes as part of Cadbury's international commitment to Fairtrade, which secures fair minimum prices for developing market commodity producers.

It is used on products such as coffee and chocolate. Cadbury New Zealand managing director Matthew Oldham said there would be no change in price or product.
