Some Telecom customers were struck by more outages this morning.

Customers on both Telecom's XT network and its older CDMA network have had "intermittent" issues with calls, text messages and mobile internet today.

Spokeswoman Kath Murphy said the outages appeared to happen nationwide between 8am and 11am.

She said the fault appeared to be linked with cellphones being unable to communicate with the network as they switched between cell sites as people moved about.

The latest fault comes after a series of larger outages in troubled XT network which saw Telecom publicly apologise and compensate its customers.
