Newly listed cinema software firm Vista has reported a 36 per cent rise in its interim profit to $889,000 on a 32 per cent rise in revenues to $17.4 million.

The company said the figures, which were for the period before it listed on the NZX this month, could not be directly compared with the listed business because they did not include the contribution from all its investments in its current subsidiaries.

Vista shares were trading unchanged at $2.60 after the announcement.
