Insolvency matters raised by the Official Assignee pertaining to the transactions of wealth between bankrupt Bridgecorp founder Rod Petricevic and his family trust have been adjourned until the new year.

The Official Assignee, part of the Government's Insolvency and Trustee Service, is investigating Mr Petricevic's personal financial affairs with a view to recovering monies for creditors. During a brief hearing in the High Court at Auckland, both Mr Petricevic and the Official Assignee confirmed that they would be filing affidavits ahead of the next court date on February 11.

The former Bridgecorp managing director was declared bankrupt in August last year over a $4.7 million debt. Bridgecorp collapsed in July 2007 owing investors about $450m.
