Dorchester Pacific has appointed Greg Main as its new general manager for insurance and lending, replacing Henry Lynch who left Dorchester for the New Zealand Association of Credit Unions.

Lynch resigned from Dorchester after being shoulder-tapped for the union's chief executive position.

Main was formerly general manager for Lumley General Insurance's Lumley Business Solutions.

Dorchester executive director Paul Byrnes says Main brings a wealth of knowledge to the business based on more than 15 years experience in leadership positions at insurance and banking companies in New Zealand and overseas.
