The American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand has opened its 2013 Success and Innovation awards to Kiwi companies trading with the US.

The awards have been running for 13 years.

There are five categories: one for exporters to the US with export revenue to that market of up to $500,000; another for US revenue of between $501,000 and $5 million; and US revenue of over $5 million; the Importer of the Year from US; and the Investor of the Year for New Zealand companies investing in the US, and US companies investing in New Zealand.

The supreme winner is selected from the category winners. The chamber also awards a Supporter of the Year.

Entries close on 14 June and finalists will be announced on 10 July. Winners will be celebrated at a dinner on 8 August.

The winners gets airfares from Auckland to one of a group of US destinations.
