The man dubbed the "Beast of Blenheim" will remain in prison for now after his application for parole was declined.
Convicted serial sex offender Stewart Murray Wilson was sentenced to 21 years in jail in 1996. His serious sexual offending against women and girls included stupefying his victims and bestiality.
He was paroled in August 2012 and sent to live in a house on the Whanganui Prison's grounds.
However, Wilson was recalled to prison in April last year due to a series of breaches of his prison release conditions.
Wilson reappeared before the Parole Board today at Whanganui Prison.
His bid for parole was declined as he still poses an undue risk to the safety of the community, a statement released by the board today stated.Wilson will be seen again by the board in October this year.
