The Central Pulse have retained the services of captain Katrina Grant for the 2015 trans-Tasman Netball League season.
The Silver Ferns defender was always going to re-sign with the franchise. The Pulse have a policy of naming their coach, who will be Robyn Broughton for a fourth year, then the captain, before announcing any other signings.
The names of other personnel for 2015 will be drip fed in the coming weeks, although it's understood Broughton has opted to retain the bulk of this year's side.
Grant, who'll soon line up with the Silver Ferns at the Commonwealth Games, has played 87 franchise games in the last seven years, having begun her career at the Southern Steel. She came to the Pulse in 2010 and had no intention of leaving.
"I love Wellington and the Wellington people, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It's also great to have another opportunity to work with Robbie as coach,'' Grant said.
"We've been so close to making the playoffs these last couple of seasons and I'm looking forward to having another go."
