The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra is performing a free show in Midland Park tomorrow as part of Mary Potter Hospice's Strawberry Festival.

"Wellington is our home town, and it's a long time since we've played a free, all-ages show. We can't think of a better reason to launch what's going to be a jam-packed summer for us than with a free fundraising appearance for Mary Potter Hospice," band member Gemma Gracewood says.

The orchestra's latest video, for the cover of The Smiths' This Charming Man, was released today and can be viewed below. It shows behind-the scenes footage of the orchestra's recent Australian tour and was shot entirely on band members' mobile phones.

Band member Megan Hosking says: "If you want to know what touring in a ukulele orchestra is like, the video is a beautiful memento that captures perfectly the fun times and hard work."

The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra performs at the Strawberry Festival in Midland Park, 12.40pm, tomorrow.

The lower drink-driving limits from December are:

Great - too much carnage on our roads.

Overkill - targets moderate drinkers, not the heavies

Still too little - make it zero tolerance.

Sensible - punishment is in line with lesser breaches of limit.
