You’ve voted and the winner has been crowned in our Canon Summer Pix people’s choice photo competition.

A top 10, whittled down from a staggering 2400 entries, were put on dompost.co.nz for voting.

The winning shot, receiving 21.1 per cent of the overall vote was Kirsteen Redshaw’s shot of Meg flicking her hair out of the water. For her effort she won a Canon PowerShot 510HS camera valued at $449.95.

Second place went to Janine Chung’s ‘umbrella and sprinkler’ photo of Coco Hauser, which took in 19 per cent of all votes, followed by Sam Mihell’s wakeboarding shot (18.4 per cent).
