James manages the business reporters at The Dominion Post and is responsible for the business section of the newspaper.
He has worked as a reporter since 1981 and has a Graduate Diploma of Journalism from Canterbury University. James joined The Dominion in 1989 and has previously worked for National Business Review and Radio New Zealand.

Tom worked as a journalist in England, Eastern Europe and Australia before joining The Dominion Post 13 years ago.
He reports on telecommunications and information technology. Tom has broken stories including news that Telecom was the first incumbent telco in the world to structurally separate and investigating the contracting arrangements surrounding the State Services Commission’s Government Shared Network.
The latter resulted in an independent inquiry and the resignation of the government’s Chief Information Officer.

A multi-award winning journalist, Jazial reports on creative, high-tech and entrepreneurial local business people and companies in the capital. She is passionate about making business news engaging to readers both in print and online.
Jazial has been with Fairfax since 2011. Prior to that she spent several years writing for the National Business Review, as well as working as the editor of two magazines. She has extensive experience writing about the property industry and reported on the collapse of many high profile developers and construction projects during the global financial crisis.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Auckland, Post-Graduate Diploma from the Journalists Training Organisation and was named Qantas Media Awards Best Junior Business Journalist in 2010.
In 2012, Jazial was awarded an Asia New Zealand Foundation media travel grant to visit Beijing to write about food and beverage exports five years on from the Free Trade Agreement with China being signed.

Catherine covers a range of national business stories, with a focus on residential property, trade and ports.
On a scholarship to Britain in 2011, she reported on the UK's clampdown on working visas and why sustainability is so important for Kiwi exports.
Catherine joined The Dominion Post four years ago. Previously she worked for the New Zealand Press Association, Radio New Zealand, Newstalk ZB and The Press.
Hamish joined The Dominion Post in March 2013, after graduating from Massey University with a graduate diploma in journalism. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at Victoria University prior to that.
Hamish was a recipient of an Asia New Zealand grant in early 2013, which saw him spend a month working for Forbes Indonesia magazine in Jakarta.
He has also been published by The National Business Review and Reuters, and has a passion for business journalism.
