OPINION: The report about 18-year-old Kristi-Rae Ruri- Gardiner of Rotorua, who died in a car accident, (July 27) was surely a great opportunity for The Dominion Post to support the medical profession's promotion of organ donation by featuring the story on page one, instead of putting it at the very bottom of an inside page.

That heart-warming decision by a young person has given a new life to four recipients.

It was heartbreaking indeed for her parents, but they will be consoled, I'm sure, by the very happy and successful results.

The four recipients are living memorials of Kristi-Rae, who, I'm sure, must have been a beautiful young lady.
