I hope bus abuse is an isolated incident Mayor's arguments unconvincing Councils should get out of housing Plan to fix late services Put Pacific ahead of Middle East wars People want decent public transport No place to stop on motorway Be upstanding for Lee Kuan Yew Legacy of misery, not happiness Stop attacks on golliwogs

OPINION: With the planned termination of the Upper Hutt leg of the Airport Flyer's run, surely now is the time to have the service originate at Waterloo Interchange, east side.

Its omission from the route is a long-standing lack.

Given such a move, Upper Hutt people could then take the train to Waterloo and step straight into the Flyer bus.

Wainuiomata and the Eastbourne bays' people could do likewise from their buses.

Starting the Airport Flyer at the Waterloo interchange would be vastly more convenient for the entire Waterloo-Epuni-Naenae catchment.

It would become much more of a transport hub.

The bus could then proceed down Waterloo Rd to Queensgate so there would be no change to the service for Hutt and Western Hutt people.

This proposal is surely the local answer to all needs.
