Wellington bookman dies at age 80

Wellington writer, publisher and bookseller Hugh Price died yesterday after battling colon cancer. Price founded book publishers, Price Milburn, with Jim Milburn in 1956.
In the 1970s and 1980s he served on the New Zealand Book Council Executive Committee and the Committee of Victoria University Press.
He was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2009 New Year's Honours list.
Price turned 80 in July and is survived by his wife Beverley and daughter Susan.
