Letter: What the keeper's boy was thinking

OPINION: The Dominion Post should take a bow. What a lovely photo of All Whites goalkeeper Mark Paston with his little son, Jack (Sport, Nov 13).
I think it should get a prize for the photo of the year. It was delightful.
Jack, with his little fingers grasping the net in the photo, was surely thinking, "No-one, but no-one, is going to get the ball into the back of my father's net on Saturday night".
And how right that proved because, when the crunch came with that penalty, I think Jack would have made sure that dad dived to the right and that his hands grasped the ball.
More photos like this make your paper a pleasure to read.
