A six-month-old Wainuiomata boy had to be rushed to hospital this morning after suffering an allergic reaction to milk formula.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a Wainuiomata property at 10.17am this morning.
The Fire Service had set up a landing area for the helicopter, which was carrying a paramedic.
The baby and his mother were taken to the Wellington Hospital emergency department, where the boy was being treated.
